For this project, I collaborated with a client to design clear, engaging, and interactive documents tailored to their brand. We customized each piece to include the organization’s logo and selected fonts that strike a balance between professional appeal and easy accessibility—ensuring the client could update materials without relying on complex software.

I specialize in creating personalized content that brings joy to families and enhances the learning experience for young children. For a recent project, I worked with a client to develop a custom book for parents welcoming a new child into their lives. This personalized story reflected the child’s name, family details, and key moments, making it a special gift for parents to treasure.

I oversaw the entire creative process—from writing and designing the content to tailoring the layout to fit the story's theme. After refining the narrative, I ensured the book’s production met high standards, working with printers to produce a beautifully crafted hardcover edition. The final product served not only as a meaningful gift but also as a cherished keepsake for the family to celebrate the arrival of their child.

Data-Driven Newsletters for Impactful Outreach
By leveraging audience data, I crafted targeted newsletters for a nonprofit organization focused on promoting STEM education for minority youth. These newsletters were tailored to engage the community, highlight key initiatives, and showcase success stories, all while fostering a stronger connection between the nonprofit and its supporters.

Strategic Cross-Platform Campaign Management
In addition to content creation, I’m experienced in using email marketing platforms like Hootsuite to design, edit, and publish campaigns across multiple channels. These efforts were strategically developed to raise funds, increase participation and attract volunteer support all while maintaining consistent branding and messaging across platforms. I also track engagement metrics and audience behavior to refine each campaign.

A creative touch with a personal twist.
This mock movie ticket was designed as part of a client appreciation campaign—used to send personalized gifts that boost morale and recognize team members in a fun, role-specific way. I created the template in Canva, managed the printing, and handled distribution to ensure every detail felt intentional and engaging.

Designing memories through leadership and collaboration.
As the yearbook advisor, I led every stage of production—from concept to publication. I captured photography at school events, conducted interviews, and guided students through the storytelling process. Using Adobe InDesign, Canva, and Excel, I organized and catalogued content to ensure every student and milestone was accurately represented.

I also mentored students in graphic design fundamentals, helping them understand layout structure, visual hierarchy, and how to use creative tools to bring their ideas to life. Together, we established a cohesive visual identity for the yearbook, developing branded templates that included a unified color palette, font pairings, and theme.

In addition to overseeing the creative process, I managed logistics including content tracking, deadline coordination, printing, and yearbook sales—ensuring a seamless, on-time delivery and a final product the entire school community could be proud of.

Branded Learning Tools that Build Literacy and Emotional Connection
What started as a small project in my classroom has evolved into a standards-aligned literacy resource grounded in both academic expectations and emotional development.

To ensure academic rigor, I researched grade-level ELA standards & state-mandated testing frameworks. I created questions that mirrored state benchmarks yet encouraged critical thinking, inferencing & articulation.

This work also connects to my doctoral research, which focuses on emotional and media literacy. I designed the cards to go beyond surface-level comprehension by incorporating prompts that help students explore characters' motivations, identify emotional cues, and draw connections between text and personal experiences. These activities help build empathy, emotional vocabulary, and confidence in expressing one’s ideas, skills that are foundational for lifelong learning.
